Simplenews Statistics

Simplenews Statistics gathers newsletter statistics like the open rate and CTR (click-through rate) and presents the information to administrators through an easy to use interface.

Drupal 7

A Drupal 7 port of this module is available but very limited for the moment. Use only for development purposes!
There is no active development going on in the D7 version. Development will start in Q1 2012.
The folowing features should be adressed in D7:

• #1310200: Bounce reports
• #1373156: Use generic encryption for url

The current D7 version will not be compatible with the future D7 version.

Drupal 6

3.x and Simplenews 2.x

All development is currently being done in the 3.x branch. 3.x will only support Simplenews 2.x.
The current release is very stable, but needs some more testing from the community. New features and requirements will not be added anymore!
There is a list of issues that need to be fixed before we can move to a stable release: (the main issue is getting a good Views integration to work)

• a stable release for Simplenews 2.x

Upgrade path from 2.x to 3.x is fully functional, there are however some things you need to know!

• Upgrade to Simplenews 2.x first. Their upgrade path should work perfectly.
• Check the requirements, there are new dependencies. Drupal does not automatically install these.
• Permissions for newsletter statistics were added, don't forget to check them.

2.x and Simplenews 1.x

2.x is the release you need to use when using Simplenews 1.x.
The 2.x release will not see any new features implemented. Only bugfixes proiveded by the community will be comitted. This release will be supported untill there is a stable release for 6.x-3.x.

Know issues

Simplenews statistics has know issues when used with Simplenews Scheduler.
