This is the Drupal 8 version of Site map.

This module provides a site map that gives visitors an overview of your site. It can also display the RSS feeds for all blogs and categories.

Drupal generates the RSS feeds automatically but few seems to be aware that they exist.

The site map can display the following items:

  • A message to be displayed above the site map.
  • Any books.
  • Any menus that will be displayed fully expanded.
  • Any vocabularies, with all the terms expanded. Optionally with term depth, node counts, and RSS feeds.
  • A syndication block, the "more" link goes to the site map.

Which version should I use?

The 8.x-1.x branch is recommended for production sites. It is considered "feature complete" and only receives infrequent maintenance fixes. Patches for Drupal 9 support will be accepted, but this branch will be retired once 2.x is released.

The 2.x beta is now available!. This supports both D8 and D9.

Note to contributors: All patches are welcome, but please focus your work on the 8.x-2.x branch.

Project History

This namespace was originally claimed by a module for Drupal 4.2 that built site maps from site taxonomy. This code remains in the project repository and is referenced by issues in the issue queue.

With later Drupal versions, new modules were created to build site maps, including SiteMenu and Site map.

With the release of Drupal 8, the decision was made to move Site map into this namespace. While the maintainers hope that this is easier for new users, we would like to recognize all of the contributors whose work made the D8 version possible.
