This module can be used by other modules to collect and track payments. This is a developer centric module that extends functionality for flexible transactions. Through this API, payments can be handled and tracked centrally.
It is a new way to allow your Drupal site to collect and track payments. It's highly extendable and easy to override allowing you to implement it easily on your site the way you need to implement it. It doesn't lock you into a specific way of doing things so you can build a cart, take donations, accept event payments, or anything else you can think of with out the hassle of being locked into a "cart" solution.
