Ubercart Mailchimp Subscribe

Ubercart Mailchimp Subscribe is a module which adds a newsletter subscription pane to Ubercart.

This is very similar to the uc_mailchimp module, but includes much newer code and removes a problem I've had with that module. There's also a brand new module for Ubercart + EMF integration.

The problem with uc_mailchimp is that it does many remote calls to Mailchimp, which can cause your checkout page to not load of Mailchimp is down, or the connection is slow.

My module does not do any remote calls during the checkout / review process and simply does the subscription call upon checkout complete.

This should reduce the problems I've been having where at certain times my checkout page will never show up (when mailchimp is down), but still allow me to gather newsletter subscriptions from my customers who use anonymous checkout for the first time.

I have no plans on maintaining this module, but the code is posted, so others can find it. If you would like to help maintain or improve this code, please send me a private message and I can add you as a co-maintainer. I will review patches as well, so post those in the issue queue.
