This module provides a CCK field type for (EU) VAT numbers. VAT numbers are validated by checking if they're in the correct form and if they pass country specific validation rules.
Countries currently supported:
- Belgium
- France
- Germany
- Netherlands
The module does NOT use the EU SOAP service to check validity since it doesn't always work and doesn't support all VAT numbers (eg. personal vat numbers in Belgium).
