The Views Slideshow Configurable Controls (VSCC) module adds to Views Slideshow: Cycle (part of the Views Slideshow project) configurable and extensible controls.
In addition to the the original “Text” control type, this module provides a “Configurable controls” control type, which, when chosen, adds following options to the slideshow settings:
- Display the pause/resume control button (or not).
- Select a Controls skin.
Three skins are provided with the module: “Text” (same as original), “White icons” or “Black icons”.
Using hooks, any module can add new skins to the available configurable controls.

This module has been tested by coder module.
This module is a 7.x version.
There are no plans to port this to Drupal 8/9. There are a lot of carousel/slideshow options for Drupal 8/9 (e.g. Slick and a number of themes that let you use the Bootstrap built-in carousel). You should consider using one of those instead.
The maintainer hopes that the community is willing to help out by answering & closing support requests.
