High-usability module for live searching and embedding Creative commons media.

Plans

  • Aggregate several CC media search/repositiories. Flickr and wikimedia commons are first in line.
  • Allow hotlinking (where permitted) or download & embed
  • Assist with proper attribution
  • Assist users with license filtering
  • Integrate in NodeStream media browser
  • Integrate license selection with Creative commons project

Current status

Early UI test: live search of flickr CC & commons images. Attribution info pulled from Flickr.
