OpenPM, Open Project Management, is a professional platform designed to make projects, teams, clients and businesses communicate better and stay organized.
It’s built upon Drupal which has a proven track record and Drupal's client portfolio is growing every day. Just like Drupal’s community, Open PM works by being powered by the community. OpenPM is built on extensive research. Research that involved long discussions with project managers in the Drupal community, project managers from all different kinds of work fields and, of course, end users from all of the above. Research into other project management systems, discovering what worked, what didn’t work, what features failed and those that were successful.We took key lessons learned and rolled them in to OpenPM.

OpenPM Features
- Designed to work with Scrum/Agile development processes.
- Projects consist of Tasks, Sub-tasks, Tickets and Time Tracking for those items.
- Teams - Create multiple teams that include members from different companies or individuals
- Extensive reporting and charts (for pretty pictures!) [Planning stages]

Development Process (Same process as Drupal Commerce)
Development planning and discussion is centralized through the project home page. We've adopted the following informal cycle to foster communication and collaboration between contributors:
- Localized discussion about upcoming development in sprints / IRC
- Global discussion in the forums for community review and feedback
- Move specified features into the issue tracker here on d.o
