Experimental project
This is a sandbox project, which contains experimental code for developer use only.
Pinterest is an online virtual pinboard that allows users to organize sites using images that they "pin" to different boards. This modules allows users to interact with their pinterest account from within Drupal.
Currently the module provides a simple block that lets you specify your pinterest user id and how many pins you want to display. The module will then communicate with pinterest in order to display your latest pins in the block as thumbnails. When a user hovers over a thumbnail they see the title you gave the pin as a tool-tip. When they clicks on one a thumbnail they are taken to your pinterest post where they can view the details and follow you if they wish.
Also, the users can configure the 'board' of their pinterest account from which they want to fetch the pins from. If this configuration is not given then only on the basis of user id (of pinterest) the pins are fetched.
The plan is to expand upon this module to enable more interaction with pinterest.
