I need to use custom PHP for some functionality. Should I build in Drupal 10, Drupal 11 or Drupal CMS?

I developed and manage an existing site in Drupal 9 (and had done a previous version of the site in Drupal 7, so I have some familiarity with Drupal).   The site uses some custom PHP programming to add some functionality that we need for workflow.  Now I'm setting up a new webserver  (I self-host)  and will set up a new version of the website, but I need the ability to add custom PHP code.  In Drupal 9 I did this using the PHP Filter Module (the ability to see the blocks of PHP code are limited to certain users via permission roles).  My understanding is that this module is deprecated.  Wha

Module for Events and Calendar

I'm looking for a module to manage events (concerts, workshops, meetings, trainings, ...), with support for one or more formats (iCalendar, hCalendar, CalDav, Google Calendar, jCal, xCal).

The goal is to create events or receive events from other parties, display them properly and allow for download or adding to another Calendar.

I found some older projects, but need something that is supported on Drupal 11.

I would like to be able to select Venues, Categories and Organizers from a managed list or from a database.

Your suggestions are welcome :)

Are my days of Drupal done?

What made NASA, Whitehouse, Harvard move away from Drupal ?

I'm very sad seeing the Big & Prominent Profiles like NASA, Whitehouse and Harvard Main Site had moved away from Drupal to Wordpress recently, are Symfony framework and Composer since D8 the culprits ?

Earlier, we're always persuading clients to use Drupal which is a reliable CMS being adopted by NASA, Whitehouse and Harvard University, most clients only have confidence in the systems being used by the prominent profiles.
