The Drupal project is introducing a new announcement feed into Drupal core. So what can you expect to see here?

These announcements may include: important news about Drupal as a product, resources and information for Drupal site owners, migration and support materials for Drupal users on legacy versions, and news and information from the Drupal Association.

Our goal with this feed is to provide carefully curated and timely information to help support Drupal site owners, as well as to encourage them to more deeply engage with the Drupal community.

About Drupal Project Announcements

This Drupal Project Announcements feed is published as a blog on Drupal.org, and pulled into the Drupal admin dashboard in the announcements section of the user interface.

No user or site information is collected by this system. If you would like to opt out of these announcements for your Drupal site, uninstall the Announcements Feed module.

About Drupal

Drupal is an open source project, which means it is built by a community of individuals and organizations around the world. Drupal is governed by Dries Buytaert, the project founder, and a group of volunteers and sponsored contributors. More than 2000 individual contributors from more than 600 organizations contributed to the development of Drupal 10, and you can too!

The beauty of open source is that anyone can contribute! If you are interested in contributing back to Drupal either as an individual or an organization, you can learn more in the Drupal Contributor Guide

About the Drupal Association

The Drupal Association is a 501c3 non-profit that supports the open source Drupal community. Among other programs, the Drupal Association is responsible for maintaining Drupal.org and the collaboration tools used to build Drupal, as well as the infrastructure that delivers Drupal extensions and software updates (including security updates!). The Drupal Association also runs programs to help teams develop their Drupal skills, and grow the Drupal community, such as DrupalCon.

If you'd like to support the Drupal Association, you can become an individual member, or a supporting partner
