The Drupal Association is a non-profit organization focused on accelerating Drupal, fostering the growth of the Drupal community, and supporting the project’s vision to create a safe, secure, and open web for everyone. The Drupal Association also administers Drupal.org on behalf of the Drupal community. 

Leadership

Tiffany Farriss headshotTiffany Farriss, Interim CEO // farriss
Tiffany Farriss is interim CEO of the Drupal Association (DA). She brings continuity and deep expertise to the role. During this time-boxed engagement, she will focus on strengthening the Association's financial and operational foundation and prepare it for long-term sustainability while the Board handles the permanent CEO search. Tiffany has contributed to Drupal for almost 20 years and served nearly five terms (nonconsecutive) on the Drupal Association Board. Tiffany resigned her Board seat and Treasurer role in July 2026 prior to appointment as the interim CEO position. Her Drupal roles have included substantial time on the DA Finance Committee and as Treasurer, as coordinator on the 2026 Alpha-Omega Security-Expert-In-Residence Grant, Drupal 25th Anniversary Gala Chair, DrupalCon Chicago 2011 chair and Marketplace Initiative in 2025. She understands the project, the Association's finances, and the realities its partners, contributors, and users face.

While she remains the owner of Palantir.net, she has stepped back from all day-to-day Palantir operations for the duration of her interim term and is abiding by a strong Conflict of Interest Framework. Tiffany resigned her Board seat and Treasurer role prior to appointment as the interim CEO position.

Tim L. headshotTIM LEHNEN, Chief Technology Officer // hestenet
Tim L. leads the engineering team supporting the Drupal community, maintaining critical services that Drupal relies on, and providing technical solutions to support Drupal Association programs. He joined Drupal in 2006 and joined the Drupal Association in 2014. With expertise in measuring open-source contributions, he's a frequent speaker on tech podcasts. Having built development teams for the social media and healthcare sectors in a prior life, Tim is passionate about the Drupal Association's role as an open-source nonprofit, upholding values of empathy, pragmatism, and openness. Beyond work, he is an author of young adult fiction and enjoys practicing the fiddle or guitar and taking his car on track days.

Molly S. headshotMOLLY SHENBERGER, Chief Revenue Officer // mollyshenberger
Molly works closely with the Drupal Association CEO, Board of Directors and other Leadership Team members to create sustainable financial growth that advances Drupal's mission. Molly is an accomplished channel sales leader with 20 years of experience architecting partner programs and executing sales to, through and alongside a variety of partner types. She has a proven track record of strengthening market position and accelerating sales velocity through partnerships which prioritize mutual value and positive experience. Before joining the Drupal Association, Molly spent over a decade at Acquia directing their Partner Program and managing strategic partners and alliances. Molly lives in the Greater Boston area and is kept busy by her two young children and building up her DIY home improvement skills.

Meghan manages and works on all things related to DrupalCon North America. She joined the Drupal Association with a background that includes 17 years of event planning, strategic partnerships, and experiential marketing from her time working with hospitality brands, tech, and various nonprofit companies. With her extensive experience with project management, branding, partnerships, and event planning, she is eager to make an impact at the Drupal Association by creating engaging, educational, and most of all, memorable in-person experiences for the community.

Ryan brings 15 years of experience in digital marketing and communications within the nonprofit sector to the Drupal Association. In his role, he leads the implementation of the DA’s product marketing strategy, focusing on increasing awareness of Drupal’s powerful features and benefits. Passionate about the DA’s vision of fostering a web that is innovative, inclusive, and open, Ryan feels privileged to promote the work of one of the world’s largest open-source communities. Ryan has had a diverse career working for mission-driven nonprofits around the world, from leading communications for an NGO in Cambodia, to overseeing digital strategy at the Brennan Center for Justice in New York. These days Ryan can be seen riding his bike around Melbourne, Australia, where he resides with his young family.

Brendan joined the Drupal Association in 2013 as an IT manager. Since the transition away from having a physical office, he has grown as a Drupal developer, building and fixing features for Drupal.org and its subsites. Brendan also mentors interns and acts as external Drupal.org support for the Drupal community.

Fran headshotFRAN GARCIA-LINARES, Senior Drupal Developer // fjgarlin
Fran is based in El Puerto de Santa Maria, Cádiz, Spain, and helps with maintaining and upgrading community websites for the Drupal Association. He migrates Drupal 7 sites to Drupal 10 and contributes to the Gitlab acceleration initiative within the Drupal community. With a background in Computer Engineering and teaching, Fran transitioned to web development in 2009, focusing on Drupal since 2012. Outside work, he enjoys running and family hikes, and he used to juggle basketballs, showcasing a unique skill.

Jitka Pilar, based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, manages Drupal Certified and Supporting partners while overseeing the individual membership program at the Drupal Association. Originally from the Czech Republic and Germany, she moved to the United States in 2009 after earning degrees in Economics and International Relations. Prior to this role, Jitka held fundraising positions at global nonprofits such as the American Red Cross and PATH.

Neil joined the Drupal Association's Engineering team in 2013 after starting with a Drupal.org upgrade and redesign project in 2008. He plays a pivotal role in improving Drupal.org to aid the community's strategic initiatives, managing technical planning, feature development, and production support. His journey began while pursuing a Computer Science degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he contributed to Howard Dean’s presidential campaign, leading to the creation of a successor project, CivicSpace.

Rebecca is a Development and Fundraising Specialist with a strong background in corporate relations, fundraising, and nonprofit program management. Holding a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Rebecca brings a unique perspective to driving strategic partnerships and creating sustainable growth. With a passion for fostering organizational impact and building strong community connections, she excels at aligning fundraising initiatives with broader organizational goals. Rebecca will play a key role in ensuring the success of sponsor, member, and digital advertiser relationships by providing exceptional support, strategizing to maximize program benefits, and delivering impactful reports. Rebecca currently lives in Orlando with her family and two dogs, balancing a fulfilling career with a love for family and pets.

Sue joined the fundraising team in 2024 and advocates for our Drupal Certified Partners while providing sponsorship opportunities for global events. She holds her bachelor’s and MBA from Salisbury University and has a background in Dept. of Defense contracts and budgeting as well as managing information security programs. Outside of work, Sue enjoys life by the Chesapeake Bay with her husband and 2 kids.

Surabhi is a passionate non-code contributor to the open-source community. Through her contributions, she has learned everything she know about marketing—events, social media, content writing, and community engagement. She love attending Drupal events, meeting new people, and strengthening connections. When she's not working, you’ll find her baking different kinds of breads, from simple butter loaves to intricate ciabattas. She also love unwinding with her favorite shows and movies (yes, she can rewatch some endlessly!). To her, storytelling is powerful—whether in marketing, open-source communities, or a beautifully crafted film.

Tanisha (she/her) is the Digital Marketing Manager at the Drupal Association, based in London. She leads campaigns supporting the Association's revenue programs, working across campaign content, digital assets, and analytics. She holds a Master of Science in Business Analysis and Consulting from the Strathclyde Business School. Outside of work, Tanisha enjoys digital painting, drawing inspiration from her personal experiences.
