Why Drupal was chosen: 

I had the idea to build a site builder very long time ago, but no platform let me comfortable to start. Luckily, Drupal 8 has come, it has very wonderful architecture to let me implement what I want. Drupal 8 Entity, Theme, Views, Configs are organized very well together is the core that helps me build all actions automatically easily and stably.
