Following issues and getting notifications
This page describes how to see and get notified about new and updated issues of interest in Drupal community projects. For background about projects and issues, see Overview of projects and issues.
Following and unfollowing issues
Whenever you create an issue or add a comment to an issue in any project, you are automatically set up to be "following" the issue. If you are viewing an issue page, you can also click the Follow link in the sidebar to follow the issue without making a comment.
You can see a list of all the issues you are currently following by clicking the Your issues link from your user profile page. You can also see the most recently updated issues you are following on your user Dashboard page -- if the My issues block is not visible, click Add a block to add it to your user dashboard.
If you are viewing an issue page for an issue that you no longer want to follow, you can click the Following link in the sidebar (when you hover over the link it will change to Unfollow) to remove it from the list of issues you are following.
Issue email notifications
By default, you will receive an email message whenever an issue you are following is updated or commented on. You can change your issue email notification settings by clicking Issue notifications from your user profile page.
On that page, you can also add email notifications for all issues created and updated for a project. For example, if you are very interested in the development of the Admin Toolbar contributed module, you can type "Admin toolbar" in the Enter a project title box at the bottom of the Projects table, and then click Save at the bottom of the page.
Another way to subscribe to the issues for a project is to visit the project page. At the top of the sidebar, you can click the All issues link to subscribe.
RSS feeds for issues
If you prefer to subscribe to the issues for a project using an RSS reader, there is an RSS link at the bottom of each project's issue page.
