Over at http://www.reblog.org they have a wonderful aggregator called refeed that is being used as a reblogger tool. There is a reblog plugin for a few popular blogging tools like Wordpress, Movable Type, etc.
Refeed
The way it basically works is you install the refeed tool, and start adding feeds. Once added you have a list of feeds to view. You can choose which feeds to make public and which to remain private. Clicking each feed lets you view the entries and also choose to publish or not. In addition you can also edit each entry if necessary. When done, it creates a modified feed in rss 1, rss 2, opml, html etc. formats based on your choices.

Reblog Plugin
Next step, the reblog plugin. Once installed, this basically is a fetch tool that grabs your refeed output and creates an entry ( node? ) for each in your installation of whichever tool you are using. This could easily be hooked into Drupal to work with Refeed. It's just a matter of grabbing the refeed RSS output and throwing it into your Drupal.
Existing drupal modules might work fine as the Reblog agent, so if you're using an aggregator of this nature already the Refeed program above might be just what you're looking for.
