Drupal 7 is at RC2 and chessboard 6.x is in a portable state now. I'll commit a patch to the trunk and create an Unstable 7 Release from HEAD, after which issues can be made against chessboard 7.x.

The code in the old CVS trunk (7.x-7.x) has been moved to a proper 7.x-2.x git branch and the master branch has been cleaned out. Let's reserve 7.x-7.x for a future version. ;-)
