The attached patch (against DRUPAL-6--1) is to demonstrate how to build a WYSIWYG plugin.

The patch file references 2 image files which are also attached and should be added to the directory wysiwyg_upload_example/plugins/foo/images/.

What a great initiative!

Unfortunately, this project is reserved for core examples. Otherwise it would grow out of control.

How about contributing this to the wysiwyg project, or creating wysiwyg_examples?

Ah, I missed the critical word "core" in the description "a broad range of Drupal core functionality" :-)

I'll send it towards the WYSIWYG module and investigate a handbook entry. In the meantime, it's somewhat documented at http://deglos.com/blog/2010/12/21/building-wysiwyg-plugin-drupal
