crozilla commentedAlso, I'm getting this error on the Edit page of each product. If that helps
warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/SITE-NAME-HERE/sites/all/modules/ecommerce/ec_product/ec_product.admin.inc on line 130.Comment #2
gordon commentedI think that the problem is that because of the change to how the product node type is created, since it is just the same as a story/page node type and you can delete it if needed I think that the CCK like was lost.
I suggest that you try re adding the cck field back to the node type. This may fix it.
#1, this is a problem with a node not having a ptype associated with it. Is this a node type other than product node type. Also use the devel module and take a look at the node and make sure that the ptype is set.
Also can you contact me off list on gordon@heydon.com.au as I would like to help you more with your upgrade so that can improve the upgrade process for everyone.

crozilla commentedThanks for helping! Here's how I did this whole install: First, I started by recreating my D5 site in a MAMP desktop environment and got the site up and running on my local machine. Then I disabled all non-core modules and replaced all the D5 files/modules with corresponding D6 files/modules (forgetting the Imagefield module as I thought it had been merged into FileField). Then I did an update.php and prayed. It seemed to work. Then I reactivated a few other key modules (EXCEPT ecommerce ones) and ran update.php again. Success! Finally, I tried to activate Cart (as I remembered that last time I tried to upgrade over the Summer, there was a proper order to ecommerce module activations), unfortunately, I couldn't because there were some new modules that I was missing (ctools, etc). D'oh! After uploading those, I could and did activate Cart, ran update.php and it seemed to work. That's when I noticed that the images weren't showing up. So after a lot of head scratching and drupal.org searching, I realized my Imagefield error. Once I installed that, the CCK Imagefield field reappeared under each Content Type and photos miraculously appeared on every node type (except eCommerce).

Do you mean delete the existing CCK field (I called it 'field_photo') in the Content Type and then re-add it? Wouldn't it cause problems to call another field the same field name, or wouldn't the DB care? I would hate to flush all 800 product photos...
> Is this a node type other than product node type.
No, it is a tangible product.

The ptype SEEMS to be set in these product nodes:
ptype (String, 8 characters ) tangibleComment #4
gordon commentedI am not 100% sure that I can help you here in the issue queue as it will be too complex, and being able to replicate your issues will be next to impossible.
If you can contact me at gordon@heydon.com.au I would like to discuss this off list.
I would not be surprised that there is something wrong with the upgrade, and this has been due to a serious lack of good data to test the upgrade process.

gordon commentedI have done some investigation and found that the upgrade path is extremely broken ATM.
I am going to continue working on this over the next couple of days and get it all going again.
gordon commentedI have done a lot of testing and it is starting to look like it is working now.
Gordon.

gordon commentedI think this is all working now, if you find any more upgrade issues please raise new issues, but I think the upgrade process is pretty much working.
