I think it will be very reasonable to introduce checksum in the file resource create method as something can happen during transmission.

If Drupal core doesn't have md5-checks - then why should Services? Services core is only supposed to replicate the functionality in Drupal core - right?

I think as Services works over network we should try to detect network related problems where possible.

Lets do the unit test of the file resource in order to approve this patch.
