I can't see why Services should support something as Flash-specific as this, as Services core doesn't do anything that has to do with Flash.
I think services_crossdomain_xml() should be removed from Services core and instead be part of a contrib module of its own or part of a contrib module like Services Accept Origin or AMFPHP.
Things to do:

gddThere is a guy working on a 3.x port of AMFPHP (#926848: Initial port to services 3.x) and I've asked him to comment here.
gddIs this really only useful for Flash? If so I'd agree it should move to AMFPHP, but I thought it was a more generic specification.

tauno commentedThis is tagged for 7.x, is this for the 6.x branch as well?
I don't see a problem with adding the crossdomain functionality to my amfphp patch. It's still just a patch though and I'm not a maintainer for amfphp, so who know when or if it will be accepted.

kylebrowning commentedAttached patch for 7.x please review.

kylebrowning commentedWoops, heres the real patch.
kylebrowning commentedUgh, one more try.
kylebrowning commentedOk, dunno if this is the last one, but I think it is, we also need to update the unit tests to handle the menu modifications.
kylebrowning commentedThis is failing b/c our test cases are failing for some reason. Definitely seeing the test cases fail locally, so if there are no other objections, id like to commit this patch in.
kylebrowning commentedFixed in 3.x-dev

voxpelli commentedWe need to make sure that some other modules incorporate this now or that they at least are aware of the removal. Could anyone create feature request issues in the relevant modules pointing them to this issue?

tauno commentedNoted on the 6.x-3.x patch I started for AMFPHP: #926848: Initial port to services 3.x

gddWhen we committed this, we forgot to remove the test in TestServicesModule.test whic would then fail. I just committed the attached patch to fix this.
