I am both testing the widgEditor and the TinyMCE module. At the moment I prefer the widgEditor since it is "cleaner" regarding available icons. Users do not always want tons of icons. A few basic ones are ok.
But, I would like to see an improved insertion of images. Currently a path has to be entered. But the users do not know these paths. So an integration with the IMCE module would be great. This module provides an image file manager to easily upload and select images to be inserted.

David Lesieur CreditAttribution: David Lesieur commentedI agree that something is needed for users to be able to add new images and preview them immediately, but if IMCE ever gets integrated, I suggest it to be optional and not replacing the current image button. The current method is straigtforward and does not raise the many serious issues brought by IMCE (like, for example, allowing users to break a site's integrity by deleting existing images without any regard to nodes that might be using them).
