Come together with the global Drupal community in Rotterdam, 28 Sept – 1 Oct 2026. Sessions, contribution, connection, and Early Bird savings until 8 June.
First of all, congratulations to you all on Drupal's 6th birthday, the new v 5.0 release and for being such a classy community. I appreciate you raising the Joomla! community up like this, too! We are indeed part of a larger, more important community and these celebrations strengthen those ties!
Congrats to Dries Buytaert and the Drupal community
For the release of Drupal 5 - which we users will use as the standard for Open Source and Free CMS
For the 6th year of Drupal.org (although we only knew and loved Drupal for 1 1/2 year)
For keeping Drupal.org free from eye prodders (advertising) and annoying banners :)
For helping the society at large who were PHP and HTML illiterate but Internet-savvy and need to have web presence affordably, elegantly and efficiently
For helping non-profit organizations with a CMS which is practically their front office and public exposure and community building and gaining support and strength online
