This would be handy since it would make download of the library automatic. This somewhat depends on #1125804: Support Libraries API since you need to change the path variable without libraries patch.

I tried a variety of file download properties and drush make seems to have issue, so the svn checkout is only method that works and isn't necessarily bad.
