This text has always struck me as a little awkward, and the last part just seems unnecessary. Wikipedia has a nice succinct message for the equivalent field, so here's a patch that copies theirs.

The patch applied cleanly on a fresh copy of Drupal 8.x-dev.
I think that the text change is welcome as the existing text isn't proper English and the updated text is straight to the point and more compact.

I'm marking as RTBC as this is simply a one-line text change.

Committed to 8.x. I don't think we want to back-port this to 7.x as it is a big string change.
