AntiNSA commentedI have been having terrible hostname setup problems lately... can you make a clear standard guide on the best way to set up hostname for barracuda? My preious hostname configurations from the past three months are no longer accepted with current builds... thanks.. sorry if this is a linode problem?

chrowe commentedNot sure if this is related but once the script finished I was able to access aegir on port 80 but not over ssl. Since Aegir is running ssl by default for all login related pages I am not able to log in to aegir. I have tried to figure out how ssl is configured but have had no luck.

AntiNSA commentedI am too having difficulty loggin into octopus, but not barracuda... barracuda is giving me an underconstruction after I aloready created the password with the one time login. ok.. I found restarting nginx ten times allowed my octopus to work. I was having the opposite as you.. my dns passes the test, but then doesnt verify ....

We never tested it with EC2, but I think we are compatible now.
You only need to use
_HTTP_WILDCARD=YESand_THIS_DB_HOST=localhostoptions and it should just work.Comment #9
smira commentedi can confirm that the above approach works

omega8cc commentedIt is now fully automated for Amazon EC2: http://drupalcode.org/project/octopus.git/commit/9d4dafb
