Hi, I'm the maintainer of the Facebook-style Statuses module, and I just committed integration with Notifications 2.x to the Facebook-style Statuses 3.x branch.

Doing so was painful. The documentation was... let's just say imperfect. So I'm going to apply what I learned and rewrite the documentation.

Just thought the maintainers would like to know.

I wrote the first two from scratch -- 3000 and 3700 words, respectively. The hook_messaging() documentation didn't need a complete rewrite so I just clarified the examples and gave more explanation about the structure of message groups.

So the documentation should all be clearer and up-to-date now.

Hi IceCream,
could you please help me with notifications of Facebook style statuses? In attachment you can find setting of notification, setting of content type Group and setting of messaging. When I share some status or comment some status on Group, the notification will not be sent as private message. Could you please show me some screens how the notification should be set up?

The purpose of this issue was to inform the Notifications maintainers that I updated the API documentation for 6.x-2.x. Whether or not any of them have read it, it's been open long enough that I think we can close this issue. Please address any other problems in separate issues.
