In future releases will it be possible to limit the scope of autocomplete suggestions?

For example, make it possible to only use "Tags" and not other fields such as body text. Seems like it could be a good way to keep the autocomplete suggestion list to a reasonable size and also limited to specific phrases.

Might be a reasonable idea, yes. Patches are welcome, otherwise this will take some time until I might get back to it.
