As announced some month ago i am working to the third version of Service Links. It will be focused in the integration with Fields, a better support for widgets and will allow multiple profiles of services. All this will require a deep rewrite in the main module, so i can't show any roadmap.

Other details are availables in the linked page, everyone want do requests or discuss proposals is welcome.

Hi TheCrow, just wondering if you are still perhaps considering Service Links 3.x that would integrate support for field entities and userpoints, iow when user shares an article, gets rewarded a point.

probably you don't have to wait for so long, after applied it should be ok: #1655240: Add an alter hook for the service_links settings on a given node
