Very poor theme performance comparing to othere themes.

I tested few themes and I like the look of Danlands theme, but it is the slowest... Any tips how to speed it up?
I tried disabling banner but it didn't help at all, its not database etc. because as I wrote above other themes work much quicker. There is js and css aggregation ON.
