This is a great module and I've used it on several sites.
I think a great additional feature would be for a user to be invited through other means than e-mail through use of a code (like a coupon code). The code could be used in snail mailings or other non-web based marketing methods. The invitee would enter the code in the registration form and be assigned the given role.
I may be able to subsidize this improvement if a job I am expecting comes through. Please let me know if you have an interest.

smk-ka CreditAttribution: smk-ka commentedThe proposed functionality collides with the current implementation of Invite, in that Invite's "registration code" can be used only once and becomes invalid after that. Nevertheless, similar requests come up regularily, so I'm seriously thinking about adding something like an "operation mode" option, that would allow the admin to enable or disabled the "uniqueness" of registration codes. Given that option would allow us to implement lots of interesting stuff, and possibly consolidate one or more of several invitation modules floating around on D.org.
So, basically I'm interested, it's just a matter of how to do it properly :)

dear_anton CreditAttribution: dear_anton commentedModule with registration coupon, re-usable unlimited, or fixed times, or only once used is already writen by me :) Code can be entered at registration form. Now I'm trying persuade all others it must be separate module, not part of Invite (of course nice module). I want know what do you thing about it.

jcruz CreditAttribution: jcruz commentedHi, I was just wondering if anyone has followed up on this yet. Seems like a nice feature to have on an invite-only site so you can invite people you meet on the street without having to get their email.
