blacklisting :name means that every list field that saves data as index->name get blacklisted if retrieved as name.
user:name avoid that.

and btw why we bother with google analytics tos on a piwik server?

xlyz commentedI think that for piwik a more sensible approach would be that if the blacklist get trigged you need to just give the user a big red warning about privacy implications for that term (in case he is using somebody else piwik server) and that's it.
Blacklisting is really moot when you are using your own piwik server.
