I added DynMenu to my site but no parent menu options are clickable so they are stuck in whatever open/closed position they happen to be in. I also have DHTML Menu installed but I don't know if that would be conflicting with DynMenu.

Oh and an option to choose which to click on to open/close the branches would be nice. I'd rather click on the bullets since that's how most OSes do it and it doesn't require duplicating the branch option under it.

disable DHTML menus and test for conflict resolution.

Sidenote: this module Dynamic Menus, hasn't been touched in HEAD since before Drupal 5. This can be seen by the last time a tar ball has been created. I don't think this module is still in development.

OK, that worked (oddly), but the "Administer" menu isn't collapsable/expandable still and there's no indication a menu option is collapsable/expandable (or even clickable) because the mouse cursor doesn't change to the pointer/link/hand cursor but into an i-beam. :/

DynMenu definitely works with Drupal 5, I use it on my own sites. However, I am not really maintaining it any more.

DynMenu creates a new block called "Dynamic " for each block named "" on your system. You said, "I added DynMenu to my site but no parent menu options are clickable." You did NOT say that you went to the Blocks configuration page and set your site to display "Dynamic Navigation" instead of "Navigation." This, I think, is why DynMenu is not working for you.
