I've talked with Joel and he agreed that it would be beneficial for all if I could get a development environment. I'm willing to spend some time in helping the solr upgrade from 6.x-1.x to 6.x-3.x and eventually 7.x-1.x

Could we make this a Priority 1 for today? I really need it to help get the Solr Team unstuck. And, should we make it a D7 Solr DEV box for everyone to use, not just Nick?

The dev site itself, named 'solr' is building out.
