Node average rating

Many of us got nodes with multiple fivestar fields. It could happen we would like to have an average rating field, auto-computed according to the rates of the other fivestar fields.

As you can read, joel rotelli found out a solution. Instead of creating a custom module for every average rating we want to compute, would it be possible to make it a feature of Fivestar module?

Auto-computed average rating is a pretty common feature many would benefit from.
