Anonymous (not verified) commentedThanks for your request. I've had a look at the case study and website but it doesn't unfortunately meet the requirements for the featured section, as detailed here under the section "When a case study can be promoted to featured":

fl26 commentedOK thanks anyway... we thought this way we could be able to better help the French Drupal community. No problem.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedHi FL26 - I've just landed in these issue queues so doing the "this is my first day" - I looked through the list of requirements for featured case studies, and one of the requirements is that it's a custom theme, i.e. not using an out-of-the-box Drupal theme which your site does.
I've done a quick google for French Drupal sites and found http://www.mediapart.fr/ which is the sort of site I see fitting in the featured case studies section. I did another search for a case study for that but didn't see one - perhaps there is one somewhere, if not I guess I should see if we can get one.
Do you have a custom theme planned for the site? I'd be more than happy to take another look when there is, so guess I understand the change of status to "needs work"!
Best,
Steve

fl26 commentedHi Steve,
We have created a sub-theme from Bartik (called bartiksub) for laboutiquededora.fr. We changed some features and the color chart for the entire site. So, maybe this constitutes a custom theme ? Please let me know. Thank you.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedHi FL26,
Changing color charts & features is not what I'd call a heavy investment in design, it doesn't look that much different than the out-of-the-box Drupal theme, so no.

strategictech commentedHi FL26,
Based on the above reviews I did not study your site in depth but there are two changes I think would greatly improve the overall visual appeal of the site.
- Find an image module that will present the images consistently.
http://drupal.org/project/imagefield_crop this is a great module that will integrate into your site.
- Modify the logo or the background color of the header so that the pixel fragments along the edges are not visible.
I think that you have done a great job selecting artwork so the images along the side have great character.
Best luck and please update us if you decide to make any improvements.

fl26 commentedHi, strategictech,
Thank you for your feedback. I'll look into this module, thanks for the tip. As for the logo, We tried to imitate something "non professional" since this is a personal website with a "rustique" look... The art work goes along the same lines. Thanks again and best regards.
