Sorry, nothing to debug, that just means that something went wrong earlier in the installation process (did you see an error, then click refresh?).

You can check your error logs and consult the issue queue for similar issues that other people had.

I had same problem.

For the second problem, I just copied the themes from /profiles folder to the /sites/all/themes folder.

Do the import need to connect somehow to http://www.drupalcommerce.org? Because I'm having the same error right now (and didn't have in previous installation) and the site (www.drupalcommerce.org) is down.

GuGuss’s picture

@Balbo: It's not linked in any case to drupalcommerce.org website. The migration imports the data that are contained in CSV files. No Internet connection is needed to install Kickstart ;)

Balbo’s picture

I did suspect that and it did sound kinda noob, i know :-/
Anyway, I don't know why it is not working. Last errors:

I have the same problem and did not get any error messages during the install.

Kind regards

I also received this error on the content import step:
Failure to sort migration list - most likely due to circular dependencies involving CommerceKickstartNodebags_cases,CommerceKickstartNodedrinks,CommerceKickstartNodehats,CommerceKickstartNodeshoes,CommerceKickstartNodestorage_devices,CommerceKickstartNodetops

And am seeing this on the site:
Notice: Undefined index: module in _field_info_prepare_instance_widget() (line 386 of ***/modules/field/field.info.inc).
Notice: Undefined index: module in _field_info_prepare_instance_display() (line 354 of ***/modules/field/field.info.inc).

Is there a way to retry the content import step of the installation?
Has anyone solved this issue? If so please post what you found.

Thanks!

I started over from scratch and may have successfully gotten through the import. On the import step I made it to the message "Completed 20 of 21. 95% Setting up users" and then the screen refreshed to the Getting Started page of the admin tool.

I did have some warnings on the Getting Started screen, but I assume these are unrelated to the content import issue I was having earlier. Here they are:
"There is a security update available for your version of Drupal. To ensure the security of your server, you should update immediately! See the available updates page for more information and to install your missing updates.
Warning: Illegal string offset 'settings' in commerce_payleap_commerce_kickstart_requirements_status() (line 1061 of ***/profiles/commerce_kickstart/modules/contrib/commerce_payleap/commerce_payleap.module)."

My advice for anyone else having this issue is to delete your install and start over, you just might luck out. I'll report if I run into additional issues on the content import.

EDIT: It appears images for the content were not imported.

Thanks!

I also receive the migration list error on a brand new install. I've tried three times and the last time was with the latest commerce_kickstart-7.x-2.x-dev-core.zip from today. Same error each time.

I do not choose to localize.

ziggrrauglurr’s picture

Same issue, localized, no errors during installation.

First error:

An AJAX HTTP error occurred. HTTP Result Code: 500 Debugging information follows. Path: http:/xxx/install.php?profile=commerce_kickstart&welcome=done&locale=en&id=2&op=do StatusText: Internal Server Error ResponseText:

Apparently found fix.

Default PHP installation in Debian sets max memory load to 128MB, even though the minimum for Drupal and CK are way below this I found the error:

PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 491520 bytes) in /var/www/ck/profiles/commerce_kickstart/modules/commerce_kickstart/commerce_kickstart_product/commerce_kickstart_product.strongarm.inc on line 1274, referer: http://xxx/ck/install.php?profile=commerce_kickstart&welcome=done&locale...

So I increased the PHP maximum memory load to 256Mb
(You can use this procedure if you are not sure how to do it http://drupal.org/node/207036 )

After doing this, I was able to complete the installation, both with and without localization. (Tested both)

Hope it helps you guys.

Hi,

I've tried the developer version now as well. I also setup a brand new server and I still get the error. I changed the values for the memory and the timeout to 512MB and unlimited in all php.ini files I could find.
No idea what else the error could be.

Kind regards
Philipp

I had the correct memory setting on my first couple installs, and still got the error. After partial success I found that the store didn't get the correct content.
I stumbled on what might be the best fix. When you do the initial setup select NOT to include the store content and everything will work fine AND surprisingly you will actually end up with 2 products and a couple pieces of test content.

Try that and it should work.

I'm running into the exact same error. It's been driving me crazy over the past 2 days.

Failure to sort migration list - most likely due to circular dependencies involving CommerceKickstartNodebags_cases,CommerceKickstartNodedrinks,CommerceKickstartNodehats,CommerceKick

I've attempted to install it (on 3 different set ups) and I get the same error ever time.

This issue appears when you're low on ram, I managed to reproduce the issue.
In my case the memory_limit was set to 128M, increase the value to 192MB fixed the issue.
We should investigate this and try to fail gracefully.

Version: 7.x-2.0-rc1 » 7.x-2.0-rc4

I started 3 times over from from scratch to install commerce_kickstart-7.x-2.0-rc4 on localhost. The first time I saw the error from the issue summary. After reading the comments, I tried the following.
For the second install I increased RAM from 128M to 192M in php.ini from the instructions given at http://drupal.org/node/207036. The same error occurred during install.
The third time I installed with 192M, but without the demo store option in the configuration and with the option for Tax Rate example for European VAT.
The third time the install succeeded without error messages.

yenidem’s picture

I had same problem, I tried 3 times. And finally, I increased php memory limit to 256M, and max execution time to 500. Installation has just completed..

jsacksick’s picture

@hWilson can you try yenidem's solution and provide your feedback ?

Anonymous’s picture

Hello jsacksick,

I just tried half of yenidem's solution. Increased php memory from 192M to 256M. Did not increase max execution time to 500, because I don't know how to do that. That's where it is going wrong. Saw twice fatal error of the execution time (30 seconds), manage tot get through it twice but in the end I got the same message from the issue summary.
Install included Configure store; country Netherlands, demo store: yes, localization: no, currency: euro, Tax Rate example: European VAT. In het following screen installing demo store (37 modules) I got stuck.
I wil try again when I have found how I shoud increase the max execution time.

jsacksick’s picture

Hi, you should find a max_execution_time line in the same file. max_execution_time = value

Anonymous’s picture

Hi jsacksick,

PHP memory limit 256M, max_execution_time = 500.
Installation went fine.
After checking the Status Report I saw one red cross with OAuth: cURL library not found (and two yellow warnings to mention them all). Seems to me not related to the installation, just missing a particular php library like it says.

mojolama’s picture

I had a similar problem. My initial settings were:

PHP memory limit 256M, max_execution_time 50

Changing max_execution_time to 500 did the trick.
