Co-maintainer request

Talking it over during our sprint right now. Anything in particular you want to come onboard to do?

@rszrama, Ryan, Please suggest a way to get special support (probably own russian.inc or plugin) for russian format address and territory division. Suppose better way to setup a sandbox or get a branch in primary repo for russian development.

We need this to move forward adoption within Russian - mostly talk about own plugin for russian address area. All changes will pass review minimum 12 developers.

Current implementation for russian territory is appropriate so stops usage of commerce and application in government/public sector.

The biggest roadblock has just been realizing the current method of making these additions isn't scalable. That's no excuse for not crafting a different strategy, which Damien has started developing today as part of the Commerce sprint, but we'll get the existing patches committed and make a 1.x asap.

I'd recommend to follow the sandbox

We were sprinting on this precise topic the week before last and then I went on vacation; some things can't be done from the top of a mountain, like update the issue queue, but the roadmap is already posted on DC.org and being reviewed to be linked in live. I don't have the review link off the top of my head, but I'll be sure we keep things updated through the project page.

Any news on this? I can image you are all busy but maybe you should therefore consider looking for a co-maintainer.
Patches are piling up and people would like to know whether this module is actually maintained.

Yep, I'll be getting on it as soon as Commerce 1.6 is out.

I'm also offering for co-mantainership, I'll see if I can get some more stuff to RTBC asap.

No need to co-maintain to do that - just needs good patch testing / review.
