This has an unreplaced variable @type. Furthermore, I'm not sure what it means anyway.

It *seems* to mean that I can disable the fivestar voting for this content type from the field display settings.

But what would be the point? It's in the field display options, so surely if the field is on the content type, the fivestar field is active. If I wanted to disable this, I already have two options:

a) hide the field from display completely
b) delete the field

Ah I get it. It shows the stars but doesn't let you vote.

Might there be a clearer way to state this?

Here's a patch:

- fixes the placeholder
- makes the text clearer
- removes the pointless historical comment added by #1268972: Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in fivestar.field.inc on line 353.

This patch also means you'll need to update the documentation here http://drupal.org/node/1308114
