I configured the module for "Full URL".
I am using it for email HTML format, and when receiving the "New release(s) available for " message, the admin/reports/updates comes with the language part of the URL duplicated: http://site/es/es/admin/reports/updates.
Maybe the problem is because the URL is already a full URL, and it should not be modified by the module.

I've checked this against 2.4 and 2.5... This is broken since 7.x-2.5.

Hmm, at first I thought this was Pathologic-related, but the email you mention is not something which would pass through Pathologic. Are you sure it's to blame?

I have a text format used in the "post-filtering" section of HTML Mail. I am using it with simplenews.
If I disable the "Correct URLs with Pathologic" item inside the text format then this problem dissapears!

I see. Well, the 7.x-2.8 release should hopefully fix this problem, so please give it a try and report back in this issue on your success or failure, as the case may be. Marking as duplicate of that issue.
