I haven't tried 7.x-2.x, but the 7.x-2.0 release has a bug in includes/libraries.phpqrcode.inc which is fixed in the dev version. The bug renders phpqrcode inoperable.

Please consider releasing a stable update to address this.

Please consider trying 7.x-2.x-dev, because if it doesn't get thoroughly tested then there can't be a new release :)

In all reality, a new stable release is long overdue, and I am hoping to have one out soon.

Marking this as fixed because it's not really a real issue.
