I have setup a field collection width
- image annotator ( Draggable & Resizable Rectangle )
- long text
and image field that does not belong to the field collection
is that correct (its a little vague in the documenation)

on edit mode I can mark and areas of the image and include text
but on the view mode I don't see any markers on the image
and the text annotations are presented after the image not on hover

maybe that is the way it should work ??

also not working on nodes as well i am having the same issue as above even the image annotator testswarm content type is showing the same results is this a know bug or model doesn't work as listed ? i would like to use this on a few sites.. side note: imagefield markers model works but search wont be found by database so it looks mostly eye candy seems to be useless other wise or it might be just me.

do you get any js errors? Have you tried clearing cache? Can you check if the javascript files are loaded?

I am having this problem as well.

I can see the annotations on the edit mode of the Node.
However, when I switch to the View mode, the annotations do not appear.

I have tried:
-cleaning the cache
-checking for JS errors (there are none)
-Checking the JS file is loaded (The file loaded is sites/all/modules/image_annotator/image_annotator.js?ml97kt and sites/all/modules/image_annotator/image_annotator.css?ml97v8)

I have also tried changing the theme and doing a clean install on a new site and using the testswarm option as well.

Could some one give me some pointers. Thanks!
