Note: if you leave Automatic Smart IP database update set to "Yes", your update may be overwritten with the GeoLiteCity database.

  1. Visit your Maxmind account page
  2. Click on the database product you want to use to update Smart IP. You will see a list of databases available for download.
  3. Make a note of the URL the ZIP field links to for the GeoIP City database with the ID GEO-134
  4. Copy the URL into the CSV URL source field on the Smart IP administration page and click "Update database now"
