There are 5 lists to restore:

  • aegir
  • aegir-announce
  • aegir-dev
  • aegir-fr
  • aegir-internal

I have started the migration. DNS has been switched to Koumbit, but the lists have not been restored yet. They have been created, but not yet configured or populated.

I have made some modifications to the list though:

  • aegir - renamed to users
  • aegir-announce - renamed to announce@
  • aegir-dev - not recreated (last message in december 2010
  • aegir-fr - not recreated (no message ever posted)
  • aegir-internal - renamed to core

I figured the aegir-dev and aegir-fr weren't really in use. I am even hesitant in recreating the "aegir" lists (which I would rename to "users") because it has seen very little traffic. Before february, the latest dates back to march 2011...

The core list is done, next up is users.

Users has been created and configured, and a forward from aegir@lists... was created.

i also added aegir-announce and aegir-internal aliases.

i tested the core@ lists, everything seems to be in order. i consider the lists moved now.
