avilao commentedThis happens to me when I have the widget on the profile. Works when registering the user, but not when he tries to edit his profile.

stewestSame here. When using shs on node creation form, with term reference, I also see nothing in the box. Just a star
Comment #3
stewestSame here. When creating a node, using shs on term reference. I see only the "required" star and no term options.

sadmetall commentedoh same as my problem, maybe it depend on a common module that we didn't install
Comment #5
avilao commentedLets wait for developers feedback!
perennial.sky commentedI was also facing the same problem. For me this problem occured because of Complete Profile Module . You guys might be using the same or other module.
I would suggest you to check your browser console and see whether the ajax requests are correct or not since SHS module mostly uses ajax.

cwang@fjc commentedThis happens to me when I have the widget on a field collection. Works first time when I entered data on the content type which embedded the field collection, but not when I tries to edit the field collection.

jcl324I'm using Profile2 with a taxonomy term and just updated to the latest dev dated May 25 and SHS works fine now.

stborchertThe error is gone in the latest dev (based on the comments above) so this is fixed.

halthCache!
Hey guys, the solution for me was clearing the (Drupal) cache.
I don't know exactly what happened, but this seemed to solve the problem for me.
Hope this can help you guys out!

sadmetall commentedI still have the same problems as a year ago
Comment #18
pareen commentedSame error for me too. Field suddenly went away.
stborchertPlease use the latest(!) development version and if the problem still exists, please come back with a little more information about your configuration (e.g. other modules that may alter the form) and look for error messages in your browsers console.
Otherwise it is really hard (if not impossible) for me to reproduce this.

svarc commentedSorry for reopening the issue but i would like to share my new finds about this.
I have a site with huge taxonomy.
Shs is working great but its not shown on node creation only in Internet Explorer 11.
If anyone could test this it will be great.
Thanks in advance.
svarc commentedI think this is due to timeout.
This is the result from the network summary from IE11 Developer Tools:
URL: /?q=js/shs/json
Protocol: HTTP
Method: POST
Result: 503
Type: text/html
Received: 0.66 KB
Taken: 25.21 s
Initiator: XMLHttpRequest
I tested with IE10 and IE11, the shs have issue appearing in both of them.
I have exactly 2285 terms in this taxonomy 4 levels deep.
Here is what Microsoft MSDN says about this: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libRary/cc304135%28v=vs.85%29.aspx
In shs.js there is no timeout set in the ajax calls so i added and tested if thats the problem but that didnt solve the issue.
