This module is used to send the welcome mail to user on his first login. This mail is manageable by admin panel. This will create the tab at the bottom of the Configuration -> People -> Account Setting page, Under the E-mails section, From here admin can set the welcome mail to send the user on his first login in Drupal 7.

welcome_email.module - apart from the things picked up in the automatic review (above) it looks good. There's a few grammar issues.

i.e line 32: "Edit the welcome email to send user, In case of first time login, Welcome E-mail.
