Hi. I'm trying to get jVectorMap working in a Drupal page, but although the module says it installed correctly, whatever code I try, nothing shows on the page.
Please could you (or anyone) help?
Should I be adding code directly into the .tpl file, instead of via the admin of a specific page?
I've got the code working perfectly in a standalone html file (outside of Drupal, with the usual JS files and following the jVectorMap website's documentation), but I can't seem to replicate the same within Drupal, so I really could use a head start. There doesn't seem to be any documentation on the use of the module specifically for within Drupal?
Kindest Regards

heddnSee the README.txt or the project page. There's an example there on how to use the module with Drupal. Are you getting any javascript errors? What happens when it "doesn't work".

heddnThis is an API only module. See the examples in README.txt.
Or maybe you are effected by the jquery no conflict issue. I recently opened PR upstream. Until it gets committed, you can either use my fork of upstream or manually update the map js file as per the README:

saru1683 commentedAfter spending some time on this and short out the issue why map is not appears.
The steps I followed
- Install module
- Download latest jVectorMap Library and place on your libraries directory and make change as per instruction given on project page.
- follow all the steps describe on project page.
- Important stuff missing -
Download full Project from http://jvectormap.com/download/ and extract it on your local machine and navigate to "tests/assets/" of your extracted directory, and find a file name with "jquery-jvectormap-world-mill-en.js", Copy this file and Paste it on your jvectorymap of libraries directory.
Now add this js on your API Implementation
drupal_add_js(libraries_get_path('jvectormap') . '/jquery-jvectormap-world-mill-en.js');. I made implementation on hook_form_alter.thats all and your map will appear.
Thank you.

roball commentedI would also like to ask for a more complete documentation with a step-by-step tutorial on how to display a map from the map JS file "jquery-jvectormap-world-mill-en.js" on a certain Drupal page, using your own custom module.
Thank you.

heddnI've updated the project page now too. The info was always available inside README.txt

roball commentedI am sorry, but there are still things not clear to me, which could need improved documentation. For example, the FAQ on your project home page states "This is fixed in the most recent versions of jVectorMap." The most recent release of jVectorMap is version 2.0.1, so are you suggesting to use that version to be unaffected of the described problem? A few paragraphs above, version 1.2.2 is mentioned, and this is also the version explicitly supported by the module itself. It would help users if they clearly know in the first place that 2.0.1 IS currently supported.

roball commentedThe non-existing documentation and requirements clarification of this module is awful. No good example for the Drupal community. I went ahead and removed it from my server.
