On this Codesprint CIS we form admin team
Two days ago @andypost talk about testbot migration to debian 7 CentOs 6. We plan do some works on this.
Curently our plan following
1. run testbot on debian 7 and centos 6 with downgraded packages to versions from puppet
2. modify puppet config (I hope tottaly) to support 3 OS Debian 6 debian 7 and CentOS 6
But I think that more suitable order will be run testbot on debian 7 and centos 6 without packages downgrade
Could you write me a list of preferred versions of mysql for testbot
can we use db version from Wheezy and same for CentOS?
Also this will be fine if you also specify rest requirements othervise php
Thanks

rfayI don't completely understand but:
1. Mysql version should not matter. We use mariadb. 5.5 would probably be great. But you can use the mariadb 5.2 that we're using on Debian if you want.
php 5.3 is the current standard.
Please make sure that any work you do is done with puppet.
I am not optimistic about having your testbots ready for this sprint, but getting the puppet scripts ready for CentOS for the future is a great goal.
The projects involved in building testbots are listed on the project page, http://drupal.org/project/testbot. Most important are drupaltestbot-puppet and drupaltestbot.

rfayThe complete and exact specification of the testbots is in the code in http://drupal.org/project/drupaltestbot-puppet. That will answer many of your questions and can the start of your work.
