Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.I upgraded from 7.x-2.7 to latest dev to see if it solved a different problem. The upgrade broke the ability to drag the marker to select the Location coordinates for gmap+location (7.x-3.0 rc2 and rc3).
It still works to click on the map to select the coordinates. It's just the draggable marker that has disappeared. The fixed marker to show the position of the last saved coordinates is still visible.
Reverting back to 7.x-2.7 solved the problem.

Anonymous (not verified) CreditAttribution: Anonymous commentedSame issue here. I updated to dev version to fix the zoom/pan controls disappearing with this patch #1851028: Pan/zoom controls disappeared. But then discovered that marker position could no longer be set on the map.
In the end, I reverted back to 2.7 and manually patched the gmap.js file to get zoom/pan controls visible again.
