The current structure and sheer amount of pages on drupal.org make it hard for people to find the specific information they are looking for.
We can improve this with audience-specific landing pages that point to the most important information and resources for that audience. The Drupal.org Content Working Group, in collaboration with the Drupal Association has created a road map and approach for creating these landing pages.
We made a start with the landing page(s) for site builders. Simplified process & timeline:
- Step 1: Research - August - September 2013
- Step 2: Create content - September 2013
- Step 3: Create structure - October 2013
- Step 4 : Build & deploy - November 2013
- Step 5: Measure - November - December 2013
Research tasks:
#2074555: Research TOCs of Drupal site builder books
#2074635: Research and document site builder persona(s)
#2074631: Research site builder topics
