This is a suggestion for the module pages. It would be tremendously useful to us PostgreSQL people to be able to filter on PostgreSQL vs MySQL. If I had a dime for every time I've downloaded a module to only find out that it's not PostgreSQL ready, I wouldn't need open source software ;>
Please, please make my life easier and require the module owner to classify their modules as either MySQL ready, PostgreSQL ready, or both. Thanks!

While that would be useful..
I suspect a lot of module developers haven't tested with PostgreSQL in the first place, and probably don't have a machine running it, either.

Schema API
With the introduction of the Schema API in Drupal 6 this will be much less of a problem in the future.

I think the suggestion here
I think the suggestion here is about providing the information on project pages in release details on d.o. Yes schema API will make it easier, but we would still need to integrate it's feature so that that information can be displayed on d.o.
IMO it's a great idea. I suggest you create an issue on the d.o webmasters project about it.

I will gladly post this to the d.o. webmasters project. At risk of sounding stupid, where is the d.o. webmasters project? I don't see anything under Projects.
